As a part-time faculty member in the Master of Science in Security Technologies program, I teach courses such as Cyber Attacks 1 and 2, Mobile Device Security, among others. I focus on providing students with a solid understanding of cyber threats and defense methodologies, combining theory with hands-on experience. Additionally, I have mentored several master's theses, guiding students on research related to cybersecurity and security technologies. Despite my part-time role, I remain dedicated to enhancing the curriculum and supporting students' academic and professional growth.
Project-Based Experience:
Artificial Intelligence consultor, 2022-2025 (Relativity6, Ginnicy: a Relativity6 Company – México).
In my role as an Artificial Intelligence Consultant at Relativity6 and Ginnicy, I have contributed to the development of advanced AI solutions aimed at enhancing business decision-making, process automation, and real-time predictive analytics. My work has focused on creating and optimizing machine learning algorithms to address key challenges in various sectors. Notable projects include the development of an AI-powered company classification tool using NAICS codes, the design of a cybersecurity chatbot integrated with automated vulnerability analysis, and the creation of a risk evaluation system using large language models (LLMs) to process public data for predictive insights. Throughout these projects, I have applied cutting-edge AI techniques to provide practical, client-focused solutions that drive the company’s technological innovation and business growth.

Attached Researcher, 2013 – 2017. – Centro de Aplicaciones de Tecnologías de Avanzada (CENATAV) , La Habana, Cuba, PhD. Student. - Instituto Nacional de Astrofísica, Óptica y Electrónica (INAOE) , Puebla, México,
My research efforts were concentrated on the development of new parallel algorithms for the discovery of frequent itemsets in data streams. These algorithms were specifically designed for implementation and execution on reconfigurable hardware devices. This research resulted in the publication of several papers in national and international conferences and impact journals. As a doctoral student, my thesis was awarded Second Prize for Best Doctoral Thesis by the Mexican Society of Artificial Intelligence in 2017.
Researcher and Project Team Leader, 2010 – 2013. - Centro de Aplicaciones de Tecnologías de Avanzada (CENATAV), La Habana, Cuba.
I directed a development team consisting of 5 engineers and 2 Ph.D. scientists, whose focus was on the analysis, design, and implementation of applications for chemical data analysis utilizing Pattern Recognition techniques. During this time, I developed novel parallel algorithms for the classification of large volumes of data using reconfigurable hardware. Our work was documented in several papers published in national and international conferences, as well as a book chapter resulting from our research.
Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer and Researcher, 2006 – 2010. - Centro de Aplicaciones de Tecnologías de avanzada (CENATAV), La Habana, Cuba - Instituto Nacional de Astrofísica, Óptica y Electrónica (INAOE), Puebla, México.
I implemented image processing algorithms utilizing Gabor and FFT filters. Additionally, I designed and developed a system of chemometric tools for the analysis of data.
